A new Study on PTSD ... "Birth Trauma: Its Impact on Breastfeeding"

In order to help clinicians understand the effects of birth trauma on mothers' decisions to breastfeed and on their breastfeeding experiences, Professor Cheryl Beck and Sue Watson, Chairperson of TABS are now conducting a study on this topic. Women who have experienced birth trauma and who, may or may not have been diagnosed with PTSD due to childbirth, are invited to participate in this study. Click here for more.

Becoming a father is a major life transition for men.

Associate Professor Gillian White and Gregg Lahood of Massey University are conducting research to help health professionals understand the needs of fathers when witnessing a birth.
